To be considered for financial aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. The Department of Education uses FAFSA data to calculate the estimated Student Aid Index (SAI) to determine your eligibility.

Any financial aid funds remaining from your award will be automatically direct deposited into your checking account. If the awarded aid covers only part of the bill, you will be responsible for the difference.
