Performing Arts

Dance 

The CCBC Dance Company is rooted in a global appreciation of the art form and offers technique and appreciation classes in a variety of styles.

Music 

From classical to jazz, vocal to instrumental, CCBC offers a variety of styles and periods of music. Music Forum performances feature faculty, professional musicians and student performers. Casual concerts are offered three times per semester and are free to the public.

Theatre 

CCBC is home to two student theatre programs that offer associate degrees in both acting and technical theatre design. We also offer three community theatres, with performance and audience opportunities for all ages and experience levels.

Visual Arts and Culture

The Galleries at CCBC

The art galleries at CCBC, managed and curated by our Institute of Art and Design, are dedicated to showcasing quality visual arts. We're proud to present a dynamic series of exhibitions by local, regional and national artists showcasing a range of media, dealing with diverse themes. The galleries also showcase outstanding artwork created by students in the Art Department.

Community Book Connection

The Community Book Connection (CBC) is a college-wide reading initiative dedicated to promoting a culture of dialogue, discussion and debate at CCBC. Each year we select a book that we recommend to the college community and host related events like keynote lectures, discussions, field trips and more.
